Monday, February 24th at the Texas Capitol to advocate for public education this legislative session
Events begin at 9 AM and you can be home by elementary pick up at 2:55 PM.

Car pooling can be coordinated at the campus level. For Westwood, email communications@westwoodptsa.org. We will leave Westwood at 8:15 AM.

We are excited to invite you to join us for Texas PTA's Rally Day on Monday, February 24, 2025, at the Capitol in Austin. This biennial event brings together parents, educators, and community leaders to advocate for every child's education, health, and well-being—a reflection of our commitment to ensuring a brighter future for Texas students.

This year's Rally Day theme, "Legacy in Action," celebrates the enduring impact of PTA's advocacy while inspiring us to build on this foundation for future generations.

Texas PTA's mission is clear: To make every child's potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Your role as a PTA leader is crucial to achieving this. Your voice and perspective at Rally Day will contribute to meaningful conversations about policies that directly affect our classrooms and campuses.

The day will include:

Opportunities to meet with legislators to discuss key issues impacting education
A rally on the Capitol steps to unite and amplify our collective voice
Informative sessions to equip attendees with tools for effective advocacy and understanding Texas PTA's legislative priorities
